Born and raised in Manhattan, Ade Adeniji fled west to attend Pomona College in Claremont, CA and later the American Film Institute (AFI) where he received his MFA in screenwriting. He's worked in nonprofit consulting, in Hollywood offices and sets, and as a philanthropy journalist. Ade's work has been published in such outlets as Mic, Bleacher Report, Inside Philanthropy, and The Rumpus. A fan of travel, history, and sports, he once walked from Los Angeles to Sacramento as part of a 48-day march to protest state budget cuts. His favorite book is The Alienist, and his favorite movie just might be Back to the Future.
